What you should expect in this process:

Within 1 business day of receiving your order, we will send you an email with instructions to upload your source clips.

We will review your clips for technical and content quality. Please see guidelines and tips for your material.

Within 1 to 3 business days of receiving your clips we will send you an email with our feedback and an invoice to create your reel.

Please monitor your email in case we reach out with questions or problems with your files.

Once we receive payment for the invoice, we will have a first cut ready for you within 5 to 7 business days.

You will be able to email us any notes you may have regarding the first cut and we will make adjustments where possible. Please see our guide regarding notes.

We will do our best to get you the final cut within 2 business days if there are any adjustments to be made.

Please allow for roughly 7 to 10 business days for this process to be complete. If we are experiencing high volumes, we will do our best to let you know when we receive your order.

If your reel requires a phone call to lay out, or if your notes require a significant effort to understand, we recommend and may require a custom consultation at $65 per hour.
FAQ & Guides
1 / Choosing the Source Material
In order to expedite your order, choose source materials with:

Good / Pro audio quality (low noise, dialog audible, no distortion)

Good / Pro lighting (faces are not in total darkness, faces are not blown out)

Minimum resolution of SD (480) but preferably HD (720) and higher.

The performance is one in which you shine, one you feel good about

The performance has enough dialog to be a performance
-
If the performance is inside a much longer source, note the start and end time.
2 / Sourcing the videos yourself
If you are electing to send us the source material, please ensure:

The file size is no more than 250MB.

The file should be a .MOV, MP4, or MPEG. A Quicktime movie should usually work.

If the source material is more than 5 minutes, be sure to tell us the timecode of the performance you are interested.

If your original file is much larger than 250MB, please compress it.
3 / Having us source the videos
For a fee, we will source the videos for you if you send us links. Your video may be on YouTube, Vimeo or any other streaming platform. If we encounter problems accessing your link, we will let you know, If the link points to a long stream or a full movie or episode, we will need the time codes for the start and end of the performance.
4 / Notes to your editor
When you receive your first cut, you may ask for adjustments and changes for the final cut. Please follow these guidelines for your notes to our editors.

Be precise. Reference time codes in the first cut of your reel and in your source material.

Be honest. If you are unhappy with something we chose or something we missed, please let us know. We want your reel to be great and for you to be happy.

Be willing to change your mind. Sometimes its hard to see objectively. Our editors are industry pros. It is possible that they may have a perspective that will be more objective and more helpful to your endeavors.

Be respectful. Always remember that the editor working on your project is on your team and rooting for you. Abusive language, rudeness or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated.
5 / Prohibited material
Any explicit videos of an adult nature, or anything harmful or unlawful will not be reviewed and will be discarded. Your order will be rejected and your initial fee forfeited. Please upload source material with care.
